Project Overview

Building a Climate-Smart Dairy Future for Tunisia

Beja Selmana is a modern, sustainable and fully integrated dairy ecosystem being built in Tunisia's fertile Beja region to address a critical structural challenge: Tunisia faces a dairy deficit of over 1.4 billion litres annually. By combining modern farming technologies, climate-smart practices, a full value chain from farm to distribution, and world-class operational expertise, the project will close this gap while creating lasting economic and social value for Tunisia and its people. The project is financed 100% by the private sector with no burden on the Tunisian state budget.

  • 500+ direct skilled jobs and 1,000+ rural families supported with stable income
  • 200 million litres of milk production annually targeting regional and export markets
  • Integrated value chain: farm — feed — milk processing — cold chain — distribution
